The day count is exact. The month count uses calendar months (e.g. Jan 1 to Feb 1 = 1 month regardless of whether it is a 28, 29, 30 or 31-day month). If you need to exclude weekends or holidays, use the Working Days Calculator instead.

• Forgetting that the result is the same regardless of which date is entered first.

Does the result include both the start and end date?

No. The result counts the number of days between the two dates, not including both endpoints. To include both, add 1 to the day count.

How is this different from the Working Days Calculator?

This calculator counts all calendar days including weekends and public holidays. The Working Days Calculator excludes weekends and optionally public holidays.
